You love your children fiercely.

But sometimes, in the hardest moments — when they're melting down, pushing back, or seeking your attention for the hundredth time — you hear her voice coming out of your mouth.

Your mother's voice. Your grandmother's voice.

The impatience. The sharpness. The reactivity you swore you'd never pass on.

And afterward, the guilt sits heavy in your chest.

"I'm becoming exactly what I didn't want to be."

Whether your toddler is having a meltdown in Target, your kindergartener won't listen, or your tween is pushing every boundary — you know these years matter. Their brains are developing. Their sense of safety is forming. And you're shaping how they'll see themselves and relationships for the rest of their lives.

The pressure feels enormous. Because it is.

You've read the parenting books. You know what you're "supposed" to do. But when your nervous system is activated and your child is dysregulated, all that knowledge disappears — and you're left feeling like you're failing the people you love most.

Here's what you need to know:

Your childhood experiences didn't just shape your memories — they shaped your brain, your nervous system, and your automatic responses to stress.

The patterns you're repeating aren't character flaws. They're learned responses from a brain that was trying to survive.

And here's the beautiful truth: What was learned can be unlearned.

Why This Is Different

Already in Therapy? This Is the Missing Piece.

Therapy is a beautiful, valuable space. It gives you room to talk things through, process your past, and feel heard. If you're in therapy, keep going.

But therapy and this workshop do different things.

Therapy
  • A space to talk and process
  • Insight into why you feel the way you do
  • One-on-one private support
  • Ongoing, open-ended exploration
Inside-Out Mothering™
  • Practical tools you use this week with your kids
  • A clear framework for breaking the cycle
  • Community with moms who deeply get it
  • 8 focused weeks with real takeaways

Many of the moms who join this circle are already in therapy — and they'll tell you this is the piece that finally made it click in real life.

What Becomes Possible

What if you could mother from a place of healing instead of hurt?

Your four-year-old has a meltdown in the middle of the grocery store — but instead of feeling your chest tighten and your anger rise, you pause. You breathe. You see their big feelings for what they are — just big feelings.

You stay calm. You stay present. And your child feels it.

Later that evening, you lose your patience. You snap. But this time, something is different. You don't spiral into shame. Instead, you repair. You say, "I'm sorry. I love you. Let's try again." And you mean it.

Your child looks at you with relief, not fear.

Because you finally understand that healing yourself and mothering well aren't two separate journeys. They're on the same path.

We are the mothers who will not stand by.

We refuse to watch our children suffer in cycles we have the power to break.

We embody the healing we want our children to inherit.

It ends with me.

Your Guide

Meet Amelia Mora Mars

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in daughters raised by emotionally unavailable mothers.

To understand why I created this work, you have to start with my grandmother.

"My grandmother wanted to become a nun. Instead, she was given an arranged marriage. She never wanted to be a wife. She never wanted to be a mother. And yet she had 18 children."

My mother was one of those 18 children — raised by a woman who had no desire to mother her. She didn't receive warmth, attunement, or emotional safety. She couldn't give what she never got.

And I was raised by my mother. A woman who loved me — but had no roadmap for how to show it. No model for emotional safety. No one who had ever shown her what it looked like.

Three generations of women doing their best with empty hands.

I made a different choice. I did my own healing work. I found an emotionally safe woman to trust. And I discovered that when I changed, my children changed.

Today I'm a mom to 10 adult children who are my joy and my life. They don't fear me. They seek me out.

For over two decades as an LMFT, I've sat with women carrying the same weight — women who love their children fiercely but find themselves repeating patterns they swore they'd never pass on.

I created Inside-Out Mothering™ because I know what it takes to actually break the cycle — not just understand it intellectually, but feel it shift in your body, in your relationships, in the way your children look at you.

The cycle ended with me. And it can end with you too.

The Cycle Ends With You.
And It Starts July 8.

Every day you wait is another day of repeating patterns that hurt your connection.

  • Your children internalizing your dysregulation
  • Missing precious moments you can't get back
  • The cycle continuing into another generation

Your children are only this age once.
