My Approach

What it actually feels like
to sit down with me.

Not a list of modalities. Not a resume. Just an honest picture of how I work, what our first session looks like, and what tends to shift over time.

Prefer to send a message instead of calling?
How I work

I do not believe in rushing insight.

A lot of what brings women into my office are patterns that formed early and quietly. The tone that comes out sharper than you meant it. The way conflict makes you shut down instead of speak up. The guilt that shows up after ordinary hard moments.

My role is not to hand you insight before you are ready for it. It is to help you slow down enough to actually see the pattern, understand where it came from, and build something different in its place, at a pace that respects where you really are.

That means our work together will not always move in a straight line. Some sessions will feel like real breakthroughs. Others will feel like simply naming something out loud for the first time. Both are part of the same process.

Before you begin

What our first session looks like

01

We start with what brought you here

Not a checklist, not a diagnosis. Just space to tell me, in your own words, what has been happening and why now felt like the right time to reach out.

02

We look at the pattern, not just the moment

Most of what feels like a single hard week is actually part of something longer running. We start gently tracing where a reaction, a fear, or a pattern first took shape.

03

We decide together what pace feels right

Some women want to move quickly. Others need more time before going deeper. There is no single correct pace, only the one that actually works for you.

04

You leave with something small to hold onto

Not homework. Not a five step plan. Just one honest thing to sit with until we meet again.

The training behind the work

What these approaches actually mean for you

Trauma Informed

I move at a pace that keeps your nervous system in mind. We never push toward a hard memory before you have the safety and support to hold it.

Attachment Focused

We look closely at your earliest relationships, since so much of how you connect, trust, and protect yourself today was shaped there first.

Internal Family Systems

The part of you that shuts down, the part that overfunctions, the part that people pleases: none of them are the enemy. We get curious about what each one has been trying to protect.

Faith Integrated, If You Want It

For clients whose Christian faith matters to them, we can bring that into the room directly. For clients who would rather keep the work strictly clinical, that is welcome too.

For Going Deeper, Faster

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

For clients who want accelerated therapeutic work, KAP is available through my concierge practice, The Ketamine Layering Effect™, when clinically appropriate.

Over time

Healing does not happen
on a fixed timeline.

Some women feel real relief within the first several sessions. Others need longer before something genuinely shifts, and that is not a sign that anything is wrong. It usually means the pattern we are working with runs deeper, and deeper patterns take real time to loosen.

What I can tell you honestly is what women consistently describe: a quiet return to steadiness. Reactions that used to feel automatic start to feel like choices again. Relationships that once felt exhausting start to feel possible.

A free 20 minute conversation is the simplest first step.

No commitment. No obligation. Just a chance to see whether this work and this therapist feel like the right fit for you.
